    Times, The Baptist

Hey, old man, where are the days you talk of ?
Old man, the good old days have been taken out back
And beaten the shit out of.
They have been attacked, they have been judged
They have been banned, and we’ve never been as fucked.
And these nights, they are getting longer
Boys with long hair, and dirty needles in their lockers
Smoke blowing in our face, red growing on our eyes
I hope to God we are all equal, or we’re all going to die

I’m going real far, and I’m going real fast,
Into nowhere ; a place of the forgotten past

Now the fields are burning, the boys that lit them are all men
They are pouring concrete into where their ancestors lived in
The victims, they are now the victors
The flags, they stand for the enemy
But the clouds are still the clouds
And they still wash their sins away
