    to be set free
    I sit and I think what could be
    if I choose to just be free

    My life would not be happy and glee
    but what a life to be set free

    My life would not be without hurt and fear
    but what a life to be set free

    My life would be full of test and trails for me
    but what a life to be set free

    To be set free means so much more
    to know that you are there at my core

    To believe, have faith, and love another
    that is something I can not have with any other

    You are always there with me
    it is me that forgets to see

    What you have in store for me
    if only I take a chance and be set free.

    i have read a few of your words and it feels to me as though you are waiting...watching for someone to come home. I can say in truth, have never been alone...so i too would never know what it is like to be single. And to think back, life wouldnt be as meanngful for me if i was single. Sometimes the army lif has a profound effect on people. As i am a soldier myself. Thanks for sharing. Your poems indpire me to look beyond so much and see whats truly meant to be seen, and over look whats not.
