To Catch A Fallen Star
I cried so many tears today…..
Today my brother went away….
It took me by surprise….
It hurts so deep inside….
A pain I can not hide….
I couldn’t understand why
he went away so soon…
Like the flowers that die in June…..
His season ended to soon….
I questioned why he had to die…..
So suddenly….So silently…..
Without saying goodbye to me……
But God knows what ‘s best for him…..
God saw his pain, and called his name….
And placed him with the stars up high ...
Where all his fallen angles fly…
He’s there to fulfill his destiny….
To stand guard and protect me…
From all the harm that I can’t see…
My brother’s looking out for me….
So whenever I’m feeling lonely….
I look to the heavens above….
To catch a glimpse of the fallen star….
That’s looking down with love…
