TO HARDEN A HEART

Poem Commentary

There can be times that you might be feeling so down and made you even close to losing your mind. But it's never too late to make a better move. Get up and show the world what you can do!!

TO HARDEN A HEART

Teach your heart

Not to feel the pain

Cover your eyes

So you can’t see anything.

‘Coz troubles make you weak

But don’t you want to wake up

And make something out of it?

‘Coz in this world

You need to be strong

Some might hurt you

But just move on.

Don’t listen to them

They’ll mess up your life

They’ll try to ruin you

But believe in what you do is right

Sometimes you have to harden your heart.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
