    UPA FORUM CHALLENGE ~ THE PERSON I'D MOST LIKE TO MEET

    TO WATCH THE SUNSET

     I'd enjoy meeting this mysterious lady
    Many believe she's a witch
    Stevie Nicks possesses a haunting, siren voice
    Her vocals ooze through the microphone
    Hypnotizing everyone .. spellbound
    Whilst she floats across the stage

    Her slinky, unique attire
    Flutters with every step
    Leather and lace
    Head to toe

    Her band .. Fleetwood Mac
    Entertained a former president and first lady
    A song of the band's was chosen to play
    During the election

    She lives in Paradise Valley, Arizona
    I'd searched the desert over
    Discovered her house well hidden
    Amongst the dunes

    I'd rang her doorbell
    No answer at all
    Though shuffled feet were heard
    Quite easily

    I'd wanted to ask
    If she'd play an acoustic version
    Of a song titled .. Belladonna

    Since i didn't get to see her
    Made myself at home
    I'd sat in her porch swing
    To watch the sunset

    Nice! I like the story you tell. Do not know how I would react to company making themself at home on my porch when I didn't answer the door... cool poem!

    Thanks Charlie! Yeah, you're right .. another challenge poem and no, I never even found Stevie Nicks home much less sit on her porch if she has one. I had to end the challenge poem somehow .. lol. SBear
