  • Thinking about writing something new cause it's been a while.

To Whom It May Concern

You think your very wise
Yes, you know alot of things
You've been to the four corners
And worn alot of rings

You practice your religion
And you know mine too
You've taken what you wanted
But the rest just wouldn't do

You say you hurt nobody
That may or may not be true
You say there is no truth
So do you even have a clue

Yes, your very wise
If only in your own eyes
You think your very wise
Though you've failed to see all the lies

It is important to not let a person take from us our self worth when they leave, easier said than done. It sounds like you maintained you self worth, well said. love, peace and freedom, Olan.

Wow amazing pax, memorable write. I think my ex actually screamed this at me when we broke up, word for word, haha, im just kidding. Seriously though, I thouroughly enjoyed this write. It was very powerful and truthful, and even emotional. -Spence

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
