    Tonight, You absorbed my mind.

with the iron pressed to my chest,
i can feel the heat barring.
underneath the ripples of thy skin.

I am an old beat set on fire!
The wet towels are at my feat
& i'm tiptoeing around the lies that you've layed down.
Something thats concreted, and not space-filled.

I'm always right on the edge of your fingertips in a dance,
a dance between us, spin in and out.
Its the same quick step as before.
    Leaning forward on the air...
    Its all in my grasps.

I am filled with no doubt or remoarse.
cast me away, and real me in.
    your love. my love.

    barely movable, eyes shut.
looking up upon you, and i've never heard your voice before.
    You prepare me for myself.

You take me on a ride that changes my life.
More than that, changes my heart.
    But, your all the same...
And i'm still left with a missing factor.

candles burning from the familiar room,
a room i've yet to set foot in...
    In hardly a year.
your head looks around the corner.
    Sure enough, there you are.
In the midnight hour spouting your old words to my open wounds.

vulnerable to you, i thought i had parted.
    fooled others as myself.
i bare back and lache on in the midst of your touch.

    ...HERE WE GO AGAIN.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
