    Too Little, Too Late


    Too little,  too late.
    I should have listened to my instinct,
    which made me hesitate. I'm wondering why did we ever 
    even date. How sad that this once caring emotion has
    turned to hate. I'll wipe you away, and start with
    a clean slate.

    Too little,  too late.
    Anything you try to say, whatever you do.
    It will not be okay, because I'm done with you.
    Leave me alone, turn and walk away. It's time for
    a brand-new, so get a clue!

    You should start a greeting card company, specializing and inventing the niche market of break-up cards. How great would that be? Hallmark, beware!! A stellar and verifying staple of poetic honesty, my lady. Another easy 10. (They need to start reserving higher ratings for poets such as yourself. 10 just never seems to be enough).
