    too much pain

ever since you left me standing here
    outside in the pouring rain
you made me realize that i don't need you
cause you've caused me too much pain
always telling me you're gonna do something
but you end up doing another
im getting sick of trying to help you
tired of playing the part of your mother
have you seen the way you treat me
the emotional scars you left inside my heart
why can't you tell me the truth
when the lies are tearing us apart
don't you understand what you have done
or are you totally out of your mind
you have hidden away the reality
    and become legally blind
but ever since you left me standind here
    outside in the pouring rain
you made me realize i don't need you
cause you've caused me too much pain

i enjoyed this poem there any many things you said where there could have been an alternative way to explain it and i know im young but many people think poetry has to rhyme but its called free verse try it some time as long as it sends a message they will understand but you have to watch free verse poems and not write a novel instead of a poem but like i said i enjoyed it !!!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
