Total Recovery...Introduction

  • BigDaddyCash
  • To achieve success in anything you need to start with a dream. Know your dream. Know why you are doing what you are doing. Create the fire that's needed to connect you with your dream. Create the passion you need in your pursuit of success. Create a desire to reach your achievements. Success can be yours if you have the courage to try..May your wishes all come true and they can it's all up to you

Poem Commentary

The subconscious mind makes no distinctions between thought impulses whether they be constructive or destructive. It works on what ever material it's fed. It will translate thoughts driven by fear just as readily as it translates thoughts driven by courage and faith. Those who go down in defeat and end their lives in drunkenness, poverty, and distress do so because of a negative application of the principle of auto suggestion ( All Impulses of Thought Have a Tendency to Clothe Themselves in Their Physical Equivalent ). .

Total Recovery...Introduction

The law of auto suggestion that allows a man to rise to heights of staggering imagination can best be understood in the following verse;

If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win, but you think you can't.
It's all most certain you won't

If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find
Success begins with a fellows will,
It's all in the state of mind

If you think you are outclassed, you are
You've got to think high and rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man Who Thinks He Can !

I have had numerous requests for a copy of “Total Recovery” from my circle of friends here on original poetry. Since I'm the publisher and editor I have to pay to have it printed so I've come up with a solution that should make my requestors content. The original manuscript is on my site on the internet available for a price as an EBook. I’m going to make the content free for all my friends on this poetry site. The link to the EBook is on my commentary at the top of this page. You’ll need a password to open the cover so if you are interested send me a message and I’ll send you a password.

I've made this a condensed version for a quick read, however, the techniques and tools for recovery are still there and I'm available to tutor on the road to recovery.

The link to my site is on my commentary at the top of this page.

I worte one called coping mechanisms that is also in this vein. I like your thoughts, i love you reasoning and this one is a great thing. Write on......

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
