Tourniquet
i have urges to cry, when things are going right.
miles away, the threat that'll end; it is taunting me.
it's gonna end my happy high.
i forget to ask permission in the rush of things.
it seems to be raining without the clouds.
the trees and the air are still,
but wind keeps knocking me down,
can't figure this out.
widen my tired eyes to keep the tears asleep.
there are my promises i'll always keep.
identity seemingly stole by a stranger.
why do you constantly put me in danger?
complicated simplicity,
i can't just spell this out.
i always save life stories,
but you never could get your Ps and Qs right.
