Trembling Flames Licked Clean

Trembling Flames Licked Clean

Who is not enamored by your complex ways
Who can stand in your presence
Capture for us the comeliness of rebirth
Take us to the meadow of downy softness
Pluck notes from our heartbeats
Designing weeping pieces of flowing art
Like a symphony conductor bring us powerfully to the barren knees of our comprehension
As we run in the fields of your vision
Bend us like blades of grass to sway as living divine chants
Squeeze the movements of waters
To wring honey from our ripened souls
Pour us like salve on merciless longing heat
Affix the seal of your love upon our lips
As we sing the bounty of grace you enfold
Sup with the hungry longings that is our lot
The sphere of your light wraps the seeking heart
In the glories of your unrelenting beauty
Struck by the range of your many voices
I am left to resound in pleasurable sighs
At your quality of perception and penetration
The trumpet of loves warmest cloak
Blazes like trembling flames licked clean to seek

Now that is what I am talking about - pure poetry,,, at its finest. Drawing the reader in so near that the fires of passion can be felt radiating upon the minds skin. This piece takes life and as the pulse quickens, a deep breath is held, with all is released - there is satisfaction left lingering. 10!

Thank you for reading and commenting.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
