Tried and True
All that traps you will fall away.
All that defines you is here to stay.
Inhale
exhale
there’s more to it then just the
breath you breathe.
Character flaws they say,
Idiosyncrasies make us special
they never leave.
People come and go in a life span,
and all that matters
are the best ones you can count
on one hand.
Tried and true,
tragedy and tribulation,
they will stand by you no matter
what you do.
Through all kinds of information
the grief or pain that began,
a true friend by far
is the hardest to find.
Connections run deep
in sink with your mind.
