    True freedom

The serpent’s fangs rip my flesh, infesting me with poison,
Its venom fails to falter my heart; greater power is the chosen’s,
My immunity to the worldly cause, is a gift from Him above,
He looked over me and my human flaws, and washed me in His blood,
He cleansed my life with his love; they have no power against me,
He leads my soul, they have my flesh, and nothing more need be,
When time prevails to free my soul from this tormented body of man,
My rejoice will be heard throughout the world,
For true freedom will be at hand.

    nice job

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
