    Tug Of War

     One day you're in a great mood
    The next, you're feeling bad
    In one day, I have seen you
    Go from angry to sad

    I don't know what to expect
    There is a push and pull
    And a conflict can arise
    You're unpredictable

    So impulsive, neurotic
    You're all of these and more
    You're my friend until the end
    But there's a tug of war

    We are on opposing sides
    On opposite extremes
    It's a struggle to be heard
    When we resort to screams

    Poor communication skills
    Have ripped us to the core
    Neither I nor you will budge
    What are we fighting for?

    Let me say to you today
    For us, there is still hope
    All I ask is our next task
    Is to release the rope

    We're not meant to play the game
    Of tug of war, I'm sure
    Whether we argue or not
    At least we'll be mature
