Two

Which one am I today
The who will calmly stay
Or the one who will rashly say
The night was made for spontaneity

Believe in me means believing in who
Don’t meander around the truth
I need to know where I stand
Escaping from here seemed like a good plan

Devil’s advocating leaving it alone
While my bones tell me to just go home
Stuck in between with a judge staring at me
Can he really understand how I feel or believe

Believe in me means believing in who
Don’t meander around the truth
I need to know where I stand
Escaping from here seemed like a good plan

Take it back a step
Before I would have leapt
Without looking at the consequence of me
Or not having a soul to tell my tragedy

Got to get a grip on things, and never ever follow a whim or feeling. Know the facts...consequences are real and delt to all who play the game of chance. Good write my friend.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
