A familiar smell, a soft touch, the light of day.
A memory of the past, always the past
    Never to be the same.
    Only to be Compared.
Never exact only similar, are the things in our past,
We reminisce to childhood wonder , and adolescent behavior.
Drams or thoughts of what should have or could have.
Instead of being happy with the past.
    We try to recreate it
    Too only find ourselves disappointed
Always chasing what has been, never doing what we say
    or saying what we mean
    Days come and go
Nightfall and dawn are comming soon, and we havent done a thing at all.
Why do we wait for what we want.
Why do we look too the future for what we need.
Life is here, live it now

Allen Ginsberg "Don't Grow Old" III Resigned.... Then he fell silent, looking at the floor and sighed, head bent forward talking to no one "What can you do...."

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
