     If I could hold you tight
    I would tonight
    Tell you things will be alright
    Give you some insight
    If I could have you in my sight
    Feelings could take flight
    This could be right
    Many times I've wished with all my might
    A future true and bright
    Mind and heart, fight
    Laying awake wishing at night
    For a life of delight
    Looking for an invite
    Dreaming under the moonlight
    Wishing on the starlight
    Wanting to hold you til daylight
    My heart, my dreams you excite
    Feelings you ignite
    Putting you in the spotlight
    On my heart shed some light
    If I could, for you I'd skywrite
    Feelings I ghostwrite
    You read em in black and white
    For you I rhyme and write
    Feelings I rewrite
    Words I wish to recite
