Unfaithful

Unfaithful

If you loved me, then you wouldn't have

given yourself so equally to another.

Your lustful kisses upon her repulse my

manners of respect for you.

I trusted in your words, lived upon your

kindness.

I'm a woman of sacredness and prosperity;

"How could you have done that to me?"

Forgiveness takes time but remembering is

remorseful.

My heart is wounded by your infidelity.

My "love you's" are hesitant.

I live with your selfish act as if it

was my own.

Love is never to have to say you are sorry.

Then, "Why I am apologizing for your

carelessness?"

Maybe I feel sorry for you and hate myself

for loving you and your unfaithfulness.

Though you've penned in pain gentleness of spirit still wafts from your words..."Forgiveness takes time but remembering is remorseful." Indeed! Good job!;)

A very sad and emotional poem but if this person truly loves you and only you they would never cheat on you forgiving the person that is right but the act sometimes we must judge and condemn. There are many fish in the sea of love sometimes you just need to sit back and cast your net on the other side of the boat and then wait to see what happens. God Bless Randy

You are so right. Thanks for your comment.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
