Sitting back looking over my life, watching the faces go by. Some are vivid. Some a blur. Some meaning everything. Others I wish to forget. Some bringing treasured memories. Others bringing hidden hurts. Should I laugh? Should I cry? Should I hold on? Should I let go? I'm feeling torn yet together. Content but confused. Some of the faces brought comfort. Others brought pain but it was the pain that gave me strength. Some brought friendship. Others brought enemies but it was the enemies that taught me life's lessons. I see the faces. Many faces. Some even nameless faces. Now I'm wondering what did they bring into my life. That is...the nameless faces. Was it hurt or disappointment, that had been surpressed because of some emotional trauma? I don't know. But now I must turn my attention to the faces I recognize. The faces that taught me and allowed me to love. The ones I can hold in my arms and share my life with. The faces I hold dear to my heart. The faces that seem to bring sunshine to my day. The faces that matter. THE UNFORGETTABLE FACES!!
