My heart to you is given, so please give yours unto me,
We'll lock them up together and throw away the key,
True love is when your heart and mind say the same thing,
But my mind is in the clouds and my heart wont cease to sing,
Love isn't argumentative it does not dominate,
It's planted deep in one's heart so that it can cultivate,
Your love comforts me like sunshine after the rain,
Your calm voice is enough to keep my crazy thoughts sane,
Sweet thoughts of you dance around my head at night,
Me and you together represents a future so bright,
My hearts was chained up and thrown out into sea,
Just awaiting that special one to come out and rescue me,
I've been shot so much by Cupid so now there's nowhere left to aim,
I don't need him for I've found you and I want your last name,
Love is the most beautiful gift that we are given to share,
But my love would be deceased had it not been for you standing there,
I love you for the man that's deep inside of you,
So compassionate it's easy for me to abide in you,
I hope to look into your eyes to find the portal to your soul,
Your perception of love is something I can extol,
Love is not to be purchased and affection has no price,
I'm trying to tell you all that's on my mind while making this poem concise,
I'm scared, too scared to give it my all til you tell me to,
Just the thought that you might leave and bid you final adieu,
I used to think if I dreamed of you I wouldn't wanna wake ever,
But dreams can only last a night and our love lasts forever,
Butterflies need wings for beauty in which they didn't have from the start,
And the beauty I've found in you lies in the chambers of your heart,
I'm terrified to the fullest of being in love once more,
I hate the thought of possibly losing the man who most I've come to adore,
Take me love and never let go for I can't bare the rejection,
Love me now, love me forever make me your only selection,
You are what I never knew I always wanted,
If I can't have you then may my heart be forever haunted,
Like music on the waters is your sweet voice to me,
I feel we make each other better how could anyone disagree,
I wanna feel alive forever make me immortal with your kiss,
With love's undying mysteries nothings more powerful than this,
I didn't know I was looking for love until I found you,
My whole persona is completely changed you have no clue,
Love attacks the heart and makes you numb in the mind,
It also strengthens your senses yet it can make us blind,
But when I talk to you it's like all my emotions run wild,
I feel so free and I feel so beguiled,
Love of my Life is the title you hold,
I'm ready to live this life with you forever so let the magic unfold,
And behold, the beauty of love that stands in between us,
May the purity of love never turn into an obscene lust,
Promise no matter what we'll always see through the lies,
False words is the one thing my heart decries,
My heart to you is given, so please give yours unto me,
We'll break every barrier and every chain and finally set them free....
