    Unseen Beauty

When strolling by a babbling brook,
The flowers in the sunlight glisten,
My heart is happy to feel such bliss,
    Such wondrous beauty I perceive--
I feel it in the sunlight kiss--
    And yet I know
    That heaven's more then this!
The poet's in their words so fair,
Try praising beauty on a page
Supposing they should capture it there---
The wondrous stream, the bird on air--
And yet, the beauty of this world
    That is as man perceives,
Cannot be compared to the glorious beauty
That awaits the man that believes,
In the saving grace of Jesus,
Who shed His blood for sin
    To make the unsaved righteous,
That we may dwell with Him.
    He's promised us far more
Than this world can offer man!
The most beautiful thing a man
    can know---
    Is God's salvation plan!

:) amen! nice. with God in the center of a 1500 square mile diamond! with the river of the water of life running out His throne! a 120 foot wall of twelve precious stones surrounds! New bodies an no more tears! Angels and Father and righteousness everywhere! The trees will clap their hands! The child and the lion will play! Cook outs and fishing! Gardening and government by Father Himself! Oh yes! Thank you Lord!

Amen! I think that His return is near at hand and we shall soon the precious face of the one who loved and bought us with His blood. We have an inheritance which is undefiled and fades not away reserved for us in Heaven who are kept by the power of God! I look forward to that day whether by life or by death. Thank you for your kind and uplifting words.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
