    Until You Understand

No, not once, not now, not ever
Consider feelings dead, and emotions severed
Love to hate and hate to live
Deplete the source till you have nothing to give
For one, fuck all, for only me
At least I decide what my downfall should be
Be tired, be weary, and step up to fight
Step away from the keyboard and sort this tonight.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
