We met in an unusual place
The connection we shared was instant
We talked on a frequent basis,
sharing intimate deatils of our life's case

    Our first day spending time,
was more like reuniting two old friends together
    The first kiss sparked flames,
taking me off my feet, light like a feather

    Time continued,
I thought I would be your one and only
    Instaed,
    I end up lonely

At night I lay awake, with thoughts of you
wondering where we took a left turn
    My body calls your name,
    your not there
Now my heart heart pumps blue.

    Finally realizing that we're through,
my heart turns cold no longer beaming
    Life with out you,
    it has no meaning

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
