    I honestly don't know how I feel about this poem. While it came from the heart it pains me to think that it is true, all of it...

    A Lifetime for you

    I never thought I’d see the day
    You’d forget how much you mean to me
    What does that say?

    I’ve spent an endless night
    Trying to help you shed some light
    Giving all I had to give

    I even gave you my heart to carry
    You held it for a moment so tenderly
    Now you take a shovel and began to bury

    In giving everything I lost it all
    I will admit that it's a little bit ironic
    But next to you I'll forever stand tall
