    Never Too Late
    Born free to a Queen 
    dreams unlimited. 
     
    Yet society sets limitations 
    staggering my imagination.
     
    City walls built up 
    caging me in ,
    caught up in my circumstances 
    I try not to give in. 
     
    Streets claim my innocence  ,
    my life no longer my own,
    My mama sits at home ,
    praying for my soul !

    In and out of jail
    incarceration seems imminent ,
    will this cycle ever change ?
     I scream in frustration
    "got dammit " ! 
     
    Now I have a son who looks up to me , 
    but please believe ,
    this is not how I dreamed
    my life would be.

    I have to make a change ,
    because my little man's watching.
         I have to break free of this bondage ,
    that society has placed upon me.
     
    I have to stop making excuses ,
    I'm here because of choices that I made.
         But thank the Lord it's never too late , 
    too late to make a change. 
     
    So now my world and my life ,
    is all about my son "JatSean"!
     
    I will guide his steps ,
    and with his every achievement 
    my past will then be undone. 
     
    I'll watch him grow ,live ,and learn 
    never making my same mistakes. 
     
    For God has given me a second chance , 
    in my seed ,my namesake!
