    Black heroes
    Luther .. King, Martin ~ preacher
    Angelou, Maya ~ poetess
    Cosby, Bill ~ comedian
    Kryptonite Superhero ~ basketball star Wade

    Black eyed victim
    Laments crime
    Arrested perpetrator
    Calls bail bondsman
    Kicked to the curb

    Black fingernails .. shaky, mad scientist
    Looks through telescope for a hole in the sky
    Astral galaxy
    Comets flying .. deep eclipse
    Kaleidoscope illusions

    Black Bart
    Left eyepatch pirate
    Always intimidating
    Charts open seas course
    Keeps treasure well hidden

    Black magic voodoo woman
    Listens to the dead .. conjures up spirits
    Advises freakishly .. casts spells
    Cultural dance ritual .. Congo Square
    Kept in a trance

    It made me make a poem of "BROWNISH ASIAN... FILIPINOS" It's a dark color of evil but the people are not, they're respectable, thank u for the great help you're doing...

    Different...Sounds like a poet's version of a Jackson Pollock painting. A brainstorm of thoughts all thrown on a page. I like it...I think. Once again, it's an approach I've never tried. My poem Wish I Did is something like this, only it's collection of rhyming words. I don't understand the UPA Forum Challenge. Maybe I'm missing something. Was this in the Poetry Forum section of this website? Was this the way the piece was supposed to be presented? A meandering of black? It does exude black. I do like the structure and flow. Again, it gives one much to consider. With poetry, that's usually a good thing. Thanks. K

    nice images, though I would have prefered this poem be heard, and not read. maybe i'll learn it, and recite it to myself... thanks for the recomendation, a very interesting style.

    WOW!!! This blew me away! A definite unexpected perspective! one of which is fascinating and intriguing for sure! I love each inside twist you give this color! the last lures me back longing for a trip to New Orleans, once again! Awesome!
