Vampire's Smile

Vampire's Smile

Dark rich blood slides down your neck
I feel the sensation,
The temptation of blood
The hunger for the kill

I long for the warmth
The cries of pain
As I sink fangs
Deeper and deeper inside you

Your emotionless face
Pales with disbelief

And I smile

I tear you apart,
Ripping your soul
From the inside out

I see tears now
Feel them
Taste them

Streaming down your face
Like black rain
And the thrill of death rushes over me

And I smile

I release you
And your cold dead body,
Wilted and lifeless,
Falls to the ground

But still, I am not satisfied
I yearn for more;
More death,
More blood,
More tears

I am the one immortal
Eternally feared

The one who walks in silence
Down dark abandoned streets

I am the one, who lives in the shadows
And plays with your mind.

And one day you'll know

you'll feel my caress
you'll look into my eyes
And you'll know

Why I smile.

that was awesome. It may make me seem creepy, but I love dark poetry. You did an awesome job bringing the reader into the poem.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
