    when i was young, i wrote about pms. suddenly i'm facing a new era of concern with maturity and its even more grueling....menopause.

    Victim Of Mental Pause


    Carpe Diem would not be apropos
    Its a condition I wish would just go 
    My age has affected my hormones
    At times I want to be left alone
    Menopause is holding me captive
    Keeping me from feeling attractive
    I'm plagued by onsets of hot flashes 
    Un colorful skin changes and rashes
    It makes me feel like I've gone crazy
    Sometimes I feel like being lazy
    Oh the memory loss if correctly recalling
    The emotional downs that have me bawling
    To liberate myself from the symptoms I dread
    I take hormones or antidepressants instead
    I've accepted the risks these drugs can cause
    I'm a desperate victim of mental pause

    wll well well the title had me fooled for one.......... My x wife went though metapause.... I went through it with her........ I thought she was just as beautiful then as ever before..... I hope and pray that you will see you are just as beautiful as you ever where.... red
