    Vitality

Just like the rest, you bare in silence
I fence off the world as my head lingers at my shoulders
My eyes digressing while the color finds this moment
Familiar with how I'm frozen here again

My energy has transformed into this fuzzy gray screen
I'm caught mesmerized by the sound surge passing from ear to ear
A burden am I sitting here bare-skinned with my arms wrapped around my waist
    Somehow crippled from the inside

I sway as my heartbeat hammers against my chest
My pupil's widen leaving a stiff expression on my face
These limbs can move, and you are my movie
Why disturb what is entertaining me

There is something terrifyingly honest in this work. The voice speaks to us about a moment that is at once guarded but we find ourselves being drawn into. My heart beat hammers in my head as I sat also trying not to disturb the moment.

If this comment rambles, it is because I am speechless, and have to fill up 100 characters (done!) This poem is...my vocabulary fails me here! I am always elated to meet more teen poets here, but one of your caliber just amazes me. I would be greatly honored if you would glance over my work, and give your opinions, I have many styles there, but for now I'm off to read the rest of your poems!

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
