Waiting for my ship to come in

Off shore On shore, Where are you now?
I ask why do you wait? Because the ship is coming in.
But when will it dock? When the waters are calm and the night is still.
Does it even know that I am waiting? That is still a mystery.
But the burden of waiting is so hard. Is it worth the trip? Your waiting.
But the night is so cold and the sky is so dark. But its very near.
I Can see it, I Can see it, Its Awesome, Its Strong, Its closer...Its U.S.S. Love.

    thanks....

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
