    Waiting For You

    Will I ever stop waiting for your messages?
    will I ever stop longing for your voice?
    I don’t see that day ever dawning…
    I see myself each day waiting for your voice
    waiting for your texts
    waiting to see your smile
    waiting
    waiting
    and then smiling, laughing, finally exhaling…
    so happy to hear from you that I can’t contain the joy.
    And then
    waiting again.
    I see my life rolling in front me
    and you there for me
    in the texts, the calls, the rare meetings…
    It may seem sad to some
    I don’t see it so
    if this is the only way to hold you in my life
    I am happy
    to wait.
