waiting (is something i can do) for him

how do you express your love for someone?,
who dosen't even believe in love's existence.
such resistance.
who?, i wonder, has slapped his face
with the glove of disillusion.
now the need for,escapes me
unto another's reality perpetrate
such intrusion,
such distain.
how do you explain your love to someone?,
for whom love holds no definition. receives no recognition
beyond society's need for conclusion to any confusion.
ahh, there he sleeps totally unaware of my stare.
more than just another infatuated glare from all those creeps.
somewhat more of a chance at a romance
that could rise above this boy's demise for love.
OUT WITH THE TEARS!, my eyes do shove.
and oh how wise my dear
to disenchant our fears of love.

Everyone tells me "love, like the tango, takes two people" but how come there are people out there who fall in the love. Not a crush LOVE! and yet their love is still un-requited. That's what this makes me think about because I've experienced that sad, hurtful feeling of loving someone who can't even see it. Beautiful work, however heartbreaking it may be

Gay, straight or indifferent ... This one evokes a sadness in me. Love is a Bitch sometimes, and we find ourselves wanting, waiting, longing for acknowledgement, acceptance and Love in return. Sometimes we receive it and other times ... Well, like I said .. Love ia a Bitch sometimes. I found this to be a very heartfelt and well written poem. Keep up the good work.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
