    waiting

    Here I am

The day that it all starts

    Just waiting to happen

The rest of my life it all starts today

    Nothing mattered until now

Now wen I relize itll fast foward

Fast foward past the yestredays and tomorows I havent seen.

I always wanted that to happen to let the scenes play out and watch

As if I was just an ominous 3rd person no one could see.

    Here I am

    The day I turned 18

Waiting for it all to happen

because it will just that soon enough.

So bring on the tomorows heartbreaks

Tomorows dramatic caos and its gutter deppresion.

    Im here waiting

For passionate firsts and many many adventures.

    Here I am waiting,

    As I have been.

    Waiting for something or someone

Who's been waiting just as long as Ive been.

Waiting is probably the most miserable feeling, and I felt through this poem you really brought it out in a way people can relate to a lot - waiting for something big to happen in a life that sometimes seems so colorless

I remember turning 18! The year I went out into independance and well, never turned back. I liked this poem. Very Hopeful.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
