    Waiting

     Are those Angels in heaven
    strumming?

    Plucking my heart-strings
    from above.

    Pondering thoughts of
    such pleasure,

    One must not forsake words
    of love.

    For what can a lover
    expect,

    If one never bears
    one's soul?

    Only a lifetime of more
    heartache,

    Waiting for love to, again,
     make a broken heart whole.

    Thank you for your words if encouragement. I like to use a variety of themes. Not just love in the general sense of the term. Love is bsic in life but it comes in many forms. I don't like too long pf poems either. If the poems are all ablut the same topoic and extremely long, they tend to be repetitious.

    A lilting stroll to heavens gate and back to the soul. Very true about love's cost: nothing venture, nothing gained.
