Walked Away

Walked Away

And I just walked away

She wasn’t remorseful

She didn’t want to change

She didn’t fight for what she lost

Didn’t try to save what she had

She had lost the passion

She was with another

She didn’t want

To be what I needed

Full of deceit she betrayed my Heart

Got smart to her trickery

And I just walked away

There were no more calls

No more texts

She didn’t notice anyway

Didn’t care

It was nothing but a game for her

Must admit

I’m surprised by the lies

She was given so many opportunities

To leave

She always said no

Until that fateful moment

When I got smart to her

She’s gone

What I had for her

Is gone…

And I walked away

From another mistake

From a large regret

I just walked endlessly away

Till I couldn’t even remember

What it was like

To hold her in my arms

I just walked away…

I thought you dumped her, you'll find a better one. It seems you're so hurt with the poems that I read.90% is about the lying woman and 10% about the girl in your dreams. I feel your in pain with this woman. Good job.

Look at the dates of the poems, I did dump her and at that I haven't talked to her in almost a month now. I was deeply hurt by the liar, I really wanted to Love her and let her completely in. I already have found better than my ex. God works in great ways. :)

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
