    Walls

     Old woman...
    Why have you
    Locked yourself away
    Age has taken a toll
    Gone is your yesterday
    Tomorrow is filled
    With uncertainties
    Loneliness is frightning
    Walls close in
    Shadows...blighting
    Wrapping invisable arms
    Around your frail body
    Waiting for your last breath
    Your soul to embody
    Old woman...
    Cantankerous old bitty
    Over many years
    Built your own city
    Of tremulant doom
    Where fog like mist rise
    And shadow spirits loom
