    • I've been gone for quit some time but I'm back and ready to write more poetry.

    Washing away my sins

    I've been living a life of sin,
    it's time i hit my knees,
    abd ask God to forgive me.
    I'm wandering down to the waters
    of Jerico searching trying to find,
    I'm gonna wash my sins away.

    God says gather al ye sheep
    flock together and i will
    be your guiding light.

    God said "Please dont question the things I do,
    For I know what is right for you."
    I lift my eyes to the sky and say
    "God I am yours to do with as you will."

    I fall into the fridged waters
    washing away my sins!
    When I come up for air I find
    I'm a brand new me.

    We all have sin and fall short of the glory of God. Remember John 3:16... the greatest promise given. I enjoyed reading this poem. it's a reminder of guiding, forgiving, and loving hand of our Lord. May the Lord bless you, and keep you. May His grace shine down on you and be gracious to you. May He grant you comfort and bring you peace. A-men.
