    Watched you sleep

Last night I watched you sleep while you were comfortably positioned on top of the sheet,
it was an opportunity and a privilege to closely examine you from your head to your feet,

when it came to the top of your head it wasn't much to be seen,
Just that it's beautiful, perfectly round in shape, shaven, shiny and clean

you always seem to have this peaceful look upon your face,
as if you've drifted into a dream that has carried you into a heavenly place,

with you now being displayed on your back I get this outstanding view of your chest,
that soft and curly hair is the perfect place for my head to take a rest,

your perfectly sized arms so sexy, firm, nice and tight,
can you now understand why when you hold me they seem to make everything right,

that lickable belly button that rest on your slightly chisseled abdominal frame,
send my mind into dirty sensational thoughts igniting my internal flame,

those flexible structured stilts that are better known to you as your thighs,
is the last thing I caress at night before Idecided to rest my eyes,

your feet well arched, tender and sweet
your strong, long and succulent toes the perfect betime treat

that expensive satin or silk that you refer to as your skin,
reminds me of the darkest chocolate, just touching it has to be a sin,

last night I watched you sleep and witness you toss and turn
it was the most beautiful thing my eyes have ever captured, which only made my body yearn.

Very descriptive as you capture the essence of the one that you love. You never lost focus and made we want to read it.l Good write.

    thank you, louise

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
