    Waterfall

    I peer upward toward a clear deep blue sky.
    Oh! how beautiful aloft where birds fly;
    to watch you descending- falling...falling.
    Your sweet rhythmic roaring calling...calling.

    Synchronized heartbeats to spiritual music in air.
    Releasing my mind from unfriendly worries and care.
    Misty fingers upon my skin- tingling...tingling.
    Refreshing peace to my soul- mingling...mingling.

    An unseen hand sends a gentle wind;
    it dances in my hair and caresses my skin.
    Body, mind and soul so alive...alive
    Harmony and tranquility thrive...thrive.

    Refreshing air breathed into the depths of the lungs.
    A hint of natures balmy fragrancies all around flung.
    Advancing the narcotic pleasure- laughing...laughing.
    For such joyful illumination there's no graphing...graphing.

    The beautiful imagery and theme in this poem is handled as always by you with a gentle touch. The refrain echoes softly at the end of each phrase leaving the feel of the poem with us, to linger on. Very Nice!

    It is beautiful. I love it! Iwish that one day, I can write poems as lovely and detailed as yours. I just adore writing poetry.

    So sweet you are. You'll probably write better than I.

    Simply Beautiful!!! You capture well the spirit of a waterfall. Wonderfully done, GentleT. There is a place in Tennessee called Fall Creek Falls that has some of the most beautiful waterfalls one could imagine. I believe that you captured the 'narcotic pleasure' that they bring when I visit. Thanks for sharing. 10

    Thank you.

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
