    WE NEED A LITTLE HELP

     Thank you Lord, I praise your name
    For all the things you do,
    Your healing power and mighty works
    Your love and mercy too.

    Each day seems a blank page
    A page that I must fill,
    With golden deeds and loving thoughts
    Designed to do your will.

    Sometimes i give into despair
    And the way, I can not see,
    Please take my hand, I pray dear Lord
    And walk this world with me.

    When such words of wisdom and guidance come from a people's priest, instead of the hollw-ish pontifications of an ecclesiastical priest, I am genuinely touched. I am also impressed with this excellent write.

    I liked this a lot Duty. The rather simplistic form really conveys the accessability of the message- it relates to all, and I'm sure you want all to read and feel the poem.
