W.E.A.K. DAY Part II of a Poetic Trilogy

I had a weak day not a weekday but a "w.e.a.k." day
You know the type of day that makes you feel like the situations that are going on just can't be real
You want to wake up from the nightmare cause there's no way that GOD really doesn't care
I had a w.e.a.k. day, I let some news get to me when it should have went right through me
Cause the person really meant nothing to me
A w.e.a.k. day that caused me to question my faith, my reason for taking up space and digging for reasons to go on
A brown liquor moment, my mind don't wanna be on it, calgon take me away day

I had a w.e.a.k. day, GOD there is no way I should be going through
No way these things are happening cause I've given my life to you
My mustard seed was getting smaller, almost forgot how to call ya'
A Lord hear my cry, GOD please don't pass me by kinda day
So I called out his name, not him but HIM
Asking Lord why do you need my attention?
Is there something I forgot to do that you mentioned
A promise I made but had no intention (of keeping)
Is this w.e.a.k day your way of bringing me back to reality?
Pushing me back on the path you have set for me
If so this is not funny Lord, w.e.a.k days are no joke
Got me grasping for air, feeling like I was about to choke
So time for the revelation to unfold

I had a w.e.a.k. day that went into a w.e.a.k night
Still too tired to fight so I went to HIM again with this battle
Got on my knees and said Lord please show me how to do this right
I prayed myself to sleep asking GOD to keep me in mind for the morning
Allowing me another day to join in on this thing called Life
Even with the strife I will accept the test
Cause God knows best and will not lead me a stray
I was just hoping to see another day

Now it's morning I wake up yawning saying Thank You Jesus
A smile on my face and my w.e.a.k. day behind me
Wondering what else God has in store for my Destiny
Ready for the next test and promising to be at my best
I know to some of you this must be surprising
you're probably realizing that even you have had a w.e.a.k. day
Scratching your head, saying now I understand
Thought I was depressed but only felling a little stressed
Now knowing a w.e.a.k. day can happen to the best

Did ya'll hear me I said I 'HAD' A W.E.A.K. day
Guess what ya'll I found out they do go away if you just keep the faith
Then you wake up thanking GOD for having another Blessed Day
