    Poem Commentary

Into every life some rain will fall. The good ones persevere through it all.

    Weatherman

    Weatherman

    The forecasted storms,
for this season is the norm
but my life’s in no need of the rain.

    Once the storms come around,
    only hurt can be found
and I don’t want to deal with the pain.

    I’ve been at the axis,
    the eye of the storm
and though it is quiet and calm

    I know that for certain,
    the weather will worsen,
as the eye moves further along.

    Also, true in the end,
is it gets better my friend,
once the rest of the storm has gone past.

    So, though I’ve been battered
and my world has been shattered,
there is sun in my future forecasts.

Loved the flow and the rhythm of this poem. Rarely does someone not sacrifice form for function or vice cersa but you my freind have done it well, here!!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
