    Poem Commentary

    i just wrote this. i'm a little depressed

    Weep
    Standing here
    The rain making my clothes cling to me
    Making my hair stick to my face
    My head is down
           Eyes are shut
    My music blaring
    Lost I'm my thoughts as
    I walk around the lake
    'Why do we fear?'
         'What causes us to need?'
    'When will we die?'
    'How can I keep who I love?'
    'Who can love me like this?'
    'Where did this life go?'
    Questions flow through my mind
    Unanswered
    I feel like I'm losing him
    I don't want to
    Yet all these questions
    Flood my mind
    Like the rain floods this lake
    The rain keeps pouring
    And I keep walking
    Tears hidden in the falling water
    I don't want people to notice
    So I only cry in the rain
    I shout to the sky
    With my music
    'BLOW ME AWAY!'
    Falling on hands and knees
    Into a puddle
    I weep, long and hard
    No-one is around to see
    So I just...
    ...Weep
