    • I've been gone for awhile with writers block but I'm back now hopefully with even better work than before!!!!!!!!

    What Am I To Do?

    What Am I to Do?

How can I stop my world from a torrential lapsus?
I’m over whelmed with hebetude and ennui person I’ve created
I’m enraptured with the thought of ending it all
    What am I to do?
When the walls of society starts to close in on me
With shackles of disparity keeping my bound in place
When my biggest enemy is I
With no where to run or hide
    What am I to do?
With never ending cascading feelings of depression surrounding me
With all the odds up against me
I turn to the only person I know who won’t turn their back on me
Staring down on me with judgmental eyes and Iniquitous glare
I pray to the Lord above to remove me from this torrential down pour
    What am I to do?
When everything I thought was right is wrong
When I had everything now I have nothing
When I looked forward to a new day now I despise waking up
    What am I to do?
    What am I to do?
    What am I to do?

Many times we find ourselves in this dark place because we think of God as our last resort, and He should be our first thought upon awakening. I have no idea if this is how it is for you, this is just an observation. Many call Him "Higher Power" "Inner-self" "Father" "Father-God" But the truth of the matter is His Name is Jesus. He said in His word that His Name is Higher than any other Name....and yes, it's Jesus. When you call Him...use that name, and say it as sweetly as you possibly can...see what happens. : )

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
