    What in the World
    What in the World

    We all claim to know what it is
    And how to go about it
    But as to how in love to live
    Can we do it I doubt it

    And if love means you never have to say
    To one another you’re sorry
    Why do we love in such a way
    That causes each other to worry

    And why do people who are jealous of
    The feelings shared by two
    Swear by heaven and earth you’re not in love
    But something is terribly wrong with you

    Why is it when your blood pressure is run up
    By the one you think so highly of
    The one who at times can treat you so rough
    The one that you madly love

    And as your feelings through a gauntlet go
    You wonder under God’s Heaven above
    The one thing millions want to know
    What in the World is Love
