    WHAT LOVE IS NOT

    WHAT LOVE IS NOT

    Love isn’t love

               If you cannot give it.

    Love isn’t love

               If you cannot feel it.

    Love isn’t love

               Unless you can hear it;

               The whisper of a heart,

               The music it’s making.

    For what is love

               If you cannot show it

               If you cannot say it

               If you cannot give it.

You’d better not say you love at all

If you don’t plan to know

               What love really means.

As elusive as a myth, words to me cannot describe love, but the heart knows when the time has come to love..

very true, Ron..."the heart knows when the time has come to love..." thanks for reading...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
