What My Lazy Eyes Have Heard

I have seen so much
But, only few things have satisfied my sore eyes.
I have witnessed more undesirable than desirable things
Even most the desirable had the sting of an undesirable feeling.
Regardless of which, I felt I was coming out of a cave as to a closet.
I feel many of whom I had feelings for wanted me to disprove it to them
But, they might say that it was more out of a favor than love.
It might include those who I may have appeared to fail upon
But, they should share with me that burden as to make feel it was only mine.
I guess that is the main reason for prostitutes would ask for money up front instead
And, most of these of my ‘friends’ think I am employed with Gestapo.
They conclude that I know more about themselves than I do.
My eyes are ill prepared to know what love is
But, my ears were waiting to see if they were ready for me.
My eyes have seen the lusty side of love
And, it has seen a side friendship where pity might reside.
It is patient upon a love that Paul once described love.
My eyes have, also, seen things more a painful
But is that something that I should dwell upon more?
