They said that life nowadays is too difficult to face,
There are so many problems out there that overwhelmed you
What they do not know is that
It may be difficult to face sometimes,
But as long as you can overcome the challenges it brings,
You know that in the end, the victory will just be there.

They said that people these days
Give due importance to outward appearance;
What they do not know is that
Kindness and genuine heart
Are the characteristics of true beauty 
And that is what's more important.

They said that if you don't have any riches
You cannot find real happiness;
What they do not know is that
True happiness cannot be measured
By the number of houses, cars and money that you have,
But by what and who you have in life.

They said that once you live in the USA
Your life will truly improve;
What they do not know is that
The reason why you immigrate, work and sacrifice
Is because you want your family's life back home to be better.

They said that the world is heading nowhere
Every day, everywhere there's always chaos;
What they do not know is that
The real reason why the world is in trouble
Is solely because people want to be better than the others.

They said that I should show what I can do
That's why through this poem I want people to know
That there's still a place for improvement
And there's still a good future ahead of us
Only if each one of us is willing to help, accept, love and understand each other.
