Whats soon to come

Why?-
Why must i sit and dread that day to come?
It is so far-
But not far enough to be out of sight
The day when love leaves my side whilst i remain bunked
Restrained to the valley currently our manor, soon to be her furlough

Aims to prevail-
But plans are not bonded.
Will she face temptation?
Will her curves serve as the temptress?

To these apprehensions i will not abide!
Agony be welcomed i will not defer!
Our intense affinity will remain incessant

Until every ounce of our residing time has been bled of its full compacity
Until that fateful day when reality takes the place of our blissful dream
Until my angle leaves to become a devil of the sun
Until the declaration "there were not enough hours in a day" are spat out, forever reverberating off the walls of my soul-

You will forever be my Jacqueline

If you are truly new at this, you'll know that when I tell you there really is no right or wrong when it comes to writing poetry you'll understand. Sometimes a feeling or a thought is easier to express in written word. If how you see it is how it comes out on the paper or screen then that is the way it shall be. Some poems can write themselves with just a single word or phrase. I think you'll find that as you progress you will find many different way to express the same emotion, its all a learning process. Keep at, you'll be surprised what hides in the mind.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
